State Institutional Ranking Framework (SIRF) Department of Higher Education Government of Uttarakhand got initiated in February, 2024 following the NIRF by MHRD. The SIRF framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across all the Universities and affiliated colleges or institutions of the state of Uttarakhand. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by Department of Higher Education Government of Uttarakhand, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.
